How the trade-in program works

  1. The Sales Specialist creates a trade in-store through the Phobio integration, thus the trade is uniquely identified to that Sales Specialist and their store location.  
  2. Customers receive instant credit for their trade-in value. Each trade is stored with a packing list with details on that transaction and ship-by date.
  3. On a weekly basis (depending on store volume), the collected devices are shipped to Phobio receiving.  Store Managers/Inventory Managers use Phobio’s web-based tools to create shipments of trade-ins which are sent via pre-paid FedEx to the appropriate, pre-defined Phobio receiving facility with a shipping time of appx 2 days. 
  4. Once received, every trade is logged into our system within 24 hours and inspection completed within 48 hours.
  5. Devices are sold on the secondary market by Phobio.
  6. The trade-in partner receives complete inspection reports and payment for all devices received monthly.
